I don't know how long exactly my truck bed is, but with the aid of a few ratchet straps that I own, was able to bring my mattress from the Jordan's by Ikea back to Somerville just fine. I'd be more than happy to help if you'd like; helping people move stuff was the main reason for getting a truck in the first place :)
