It's pretty obvious from the account creation page there.

https://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=127 is the first Google hit for "copy livejournal to dreamwidth."

I think of DW somewhat differently than I do/did G+; more for long form musings than quick posts. But I may change that perspective. I didn't post a whole lot in either medium :-}.

This seems to be working well for me. I have to figure out my own style of formatting over time...
